Don’t know the default password for your router? Search www.Default-Password.info!

One of the things that I need to do from time to time is to fix a networking issue on a wireless router, or find what a network printer’s IP address is from DHCP, and find other critical network info. One of the best ways to get this information is to log directly into the router2011-06-24 15h31_23 and view this information.

However, some people don’t know what their administrator password is for their home or business SOHO routers. Even worse, many people never, ever, change the default admin password! So what do I do when I need to find a default password? I perform a search at
www.default-password.info.

This is one of those great web resources for technicians. It is a no-thrills, simple, text based site. Most, if not all, network devices are listed on this site sorted by make and model. A nice addition is the Google Search box at the top of the site. Be sure to save www.default-password.info as a favorite!
